THE BOOKING JOURNEY

One stage at a time.

01

Agree & fund

Choose the event and fee. Both parties review the same agreement. The promoter pays the full amount through the connected provider.

02

Meet & confirm

Exchange a fresh arrival code at the venue. At the end, exchange a separate completion code after checking the agreed work.

03

Review & release

A proposed 24-hour review window gives both parties time to raise a problem. Eligible bookings can then be paid out.

Read the test instructions and limits
  1. Create a fictional booking or load the sample.
  2. As promoter, enter a test name and accept. Switch to artist and accept.
  3. As promoter, simulate payment. Try a failure before a success.
  4. Generate an arrival code. Switch to artist and enter the displayed code, or scan it from another screen showing this same browser session.
  5. Repeat for completion. Check that release is blocked during the review window.
  6. As HornBridge, use “Advance test clock 24 hours”, then run the release check.
  7. Try another booking and raise an issue before release. HornBridge must record a review decision.

This version saves test data in this browser only. Role switching is a demonstration, not sign-in. Separate devices do not share bookings. QR images contain a one-time test token, not payment details. A scan is evidence of confirmation, not proof of service quality. The clock, timestamps and codes are browser-controlled in this prototype.

Live launch still requires server-side accounts and authorisation, a shared database, payment-provider onboarding and test keys, signed webhooks, server-issued tokens, reviewed contracts and privacy terms. No live card details should be entered here.

AFTER THE REHEARSAL

What connects this to real payments?

Stripe Connect or another approved marketplace provider must be configured on a secure server. The server confirms funding, checks completion and disputes, then requests the artist transfer and bank payout. Payment timing, supported countries, fees and holding limits depend on the approved provider setup.

This test is not connected to Stripe or Mangopay. “Paid”, “refund” and “released” below always refer to simulations. The proposed 24-hour review rule and sample contract terms require approval before live use.
